Lazio’s struggles continue into 2025

A poor run of form either side of the new year has put a dent in Lazio’s aspirations of making the Champions League places in Serie A and they could again come unstuck against Como.

Lazio finished 2024 with just one win in their final three league matches, losing 6-0 at home to Inter Milan in the process.

Como impress against big names

Lazio’s next opponents Como, meanwhile, finished last year strongly with home wins over Roma and Lecce, winning both of those matches 2-0.

And while they will be on the road this time around, this will be their first game of 2025 and they can make the most of their ample rest.

Given the form of the two teams, Como are worth backing to avoid defeat, while a 1-1 draw looks a suitable pick in the correct score betting.
